CR at CSC Around the World

Throughout the company, around the world, CSC employees exemplify our CR practices.
In support of the American Heart Association, CSC employees in North America participated in the 2010 pilot Walking Challenge while promoting well-being, improving morale and raising awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. CSC employees in the United States also got actively involved by participating in and fundraising for the 2011 Washington, DC Soldier Ride, which helps service members recovering from injuries reclaim confidence and strength.
CSC Brazil employees volunteered their time, energy and made monetary donations to support the creation of special kits for each child on Children's Day.
In the United Kingdom, CSC is part of the Technology Leadership Group as a Patron of the Prince's Trust, a UK charity set up to help young people to overcome barriers and get their lives back on track. Through practical support including training, mentoring and financial assistance, the Prince's Trust help 14-30 year olds to realise their potential and transform their lives. CSC Belgium has been awarded one of Belgium's top employers for the second consecutive year, by CRF in association with the Belgian HR magazine Jobat and HayGroup. They also support the charity "Stichting Koningin Paola - Fondation Reine Paola," a national educational foundation and program.
CSC Spain's Corporate Volunteering Program, has united local employees in their efforts for a more responsible and sustainable workplace.
CSC Australia supports local communities with environmentally responsible practices, sports sponsorship and time and dollar donations to Australian charities.
On Children's Day 2009, CSC Asia (Vietnam) visited and distributed food and supplies to orphaned children at a Buddhist temple. The Kuala Selangor Nature Society (KSNS) enlisted CSC Malaysia for a mangrove tree-planting drive to help reinforce the soil in the surrounding areas of the Kuala Selangor Nature Park.
Through our Corporate Mentorship Programs in CSC India, we mentor over 200 orphaned children and have achieved 100% literacy for the children of two of the villages we've adopted. Find out more about CSC's community partnerships.
