Java Front-End Developer

In this position you will work within the CSC applications team and be responsible for the on-going support and improvement of the front-end of a web application developed for a large telecoms customer. As a senior member of the team, you will have frequent contact with the customer and be involved in new projects as well. You may also be involved in the coaching and mentoring of junior Java developers as this group grows potentially taking on team leader responsibilities in the long term.

Essential Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience in development of business applications on the J2EE platform.
• At least one year experience with the administration and configuration of some server applications (Glassfish, Websphere, WebLogic, JBoss )
• Experience with EJB, JPA, JDBC
• Experience with the cration of complex SQL queries – Oracle, MySQL
• Experience with XML
• Knowledge of development on Unix operating system
• Fluency in Czech language
• At least a communicative knowledge of English
• Good communication skills , team working, and customer-oriented 

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with the design of web applications and portals
• Experience with JSPs and Jakarta Tomcat Servlet Engine, JSF
• Experience with AJAX, CSS, Java Script and HTML/DHTML
• Experience with object-relational frameworks Hibernate/Toplink/Ibatis
• Experience with CVS/SVN, Apache Ant, Maven
• Experience with Spring Framework
• Experience with programming Webservices (JAX-RPC, JAX-WS)
