Since 1991, we have steadily expanded our India operations to productively respond to the needs of our customers worldwide. Our recent acquisition and expansion activities have increased our development and delivery centers to seven locations within India, including Noida, Indore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore and Vadodara. Now, with more than 16,000 employees in India and an additional 3,000 in other geographies that support our India operations, we are one of the fastest growing IT services firms in India and also CSC's second largest location globally.
In India, our strong local presence enables us to offer to our clients worldwide, high-value technology solutions and a rich portfolio of services across industry segments, including applications development and product support, infrastructure and BPO services. We have been consistently recognized in many “best employer” award categories and we house CSC's first Office of Innovation outside the U.S.
