Getting Started with ITES-2S

Identify work required. Post your RFP on CHESS's it e-mart. Follow the recommended Statement of Work (SOW) template or, in the case of a Performance Based Contract, prepare a Statement of Objectives (SOO) when submitting your project requirements to the ITES-2S Pre-Awards Manager.

Five easy steps get the support you need:

1. Develop the scope of your Program.
2. Develop the Statement of Work (SOW).
3. Prepare an Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE) and a Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) or other funding transfer document.
4. Post your RFP on the CHESS it e-mart, (https://chess.army.mil).
5. Send your IGCE, and funding transfer document to your Contract Officer.
