Flatter & Associates (F&A), a growing Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) established in 2002 with the core competencies of Management Consulting, Technical Services, and Staff Augmentation, operates at the unique capabilities intersection of Homeland Security, Organizational Transformation, Human Capital Development, and Information Technology. F&A revenue for the most recent concluded FY is just under $6M. Our current employee strength is 42 full time employees. F&A has a history of creating, integrating, and sustaining High Impact SolutionsSM across the full spectrum of organizational challenges. F&A retains a diverse team of expert consultants who are highly skilled in both their specialized functional areas as well as in the methods of organizational consulting. F&A provides custom solutions that allow all organizations to work efficiently and securely by balancing the need for productivity with the paramount requirement for protection. F&A combines our trusted security expertise, broad understanding of IT and Information Assurance (IA), and our ability to rapidly develop custom solutions to provide our customers with unique and effective services.

F&A’s methodologies include:
- Management Consulting: Flatter & Associates retains a diverse team of expert consultants who are deeply skilled in both their functional areas and the methods of organizational consulting. As Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), our consultants add significant value to our Partner-Clients by making recommendations often based on lessons learned and best practices, as well as assist in the implementation.
- Technical Services: Using the standard Software Development Lifecycle, F&A manages all phases of software projects - from requirements generation to development to testing and training. Each phase includes full documentation. As the ever-increasing Global War on Terror (GWOT) includes protection of networks and electronic communications, F&A provides Information Assurance (IA) services to ensure the security of our Partner-Client’s systems. These services include risk assessments, threat analysis, security testing & evaluation, certification & accreditation support, and policy development & review.
- Staff Augmentation: Sometimes our Partner-Clients require basic support to accomplish the daily tasks required to meet business needs. In those times, F&A provides the necessary skill sets and works closely with our Partner-Clients based on their direction.
