Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN)

Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN) is a Virginia based Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business, established in 1995 to provide engineering, technical, program management, administrative, financial management and information technology services to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agencies.

The DoD has recognized ESN with the prestigious Nunn-Perry Award for growth and development while participating in the DoD Mentor-Protégé Program. ESN has achieved and maintained ISO 9001:2000 registration since March, 2002 as an important customer-centric Quality Management System certification. We also have employees with Lean Six Sigma certification to ensure ongoing and future efforts are of highest quality and cost effectiveness as ESN stands “Shoulder to Shoulder” with our Government customers. ESN has offices and facilities located in U.S. Navy fleet concentration areas.

Proven Successes

ESN’s proven successes provide us the ability to offer unique utility in the area of end-to-end Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) operational testing. The most significant percentage of our business base involves Information Technology support and DGSIT. The latter accounts for 12 years of experience with planning, executing, and providing analysis for such test events globally. Testing is conducted prior to every Carrier Strike Group (CSG) and Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) deployment.

Using the lessons learned from these processes, ESN is able to apply experienced forethought to the explicit and inherent requirements to conduct C4I testing within an operational context. These teams exercise mission capabilities and systems to ensure that all C4I and combat systems are integrated and interoperable both internally and with our coalition partners. IT/networks, connectivity, systems integration and interoperability all are major areas tested and evaluated.

In specifically addressing the scope of this task, as part of the DGSIT process, ESN develops test plans and conducts their execution through the management of Subject Matter Experts (SME).

ESN, Incorporated has system specific engineering expertise involving the specialized software/hardware development, test & evaluation, site design, configuration management and installation procedures/processes associated with the unique requirements of US Navy and joint DOD communications systems deployed within the Shore Based secure and non-secure communications environment.
