Tecolote Research, Inc was founded in Santa Barbara, California, in 1973. We are an independent, employee-owned firm that is nationally known for providing specialized program acquisition, sustainment, technical, management, and cost analysis support for clients primarily within the U.S. Government.

Tecolote delivers a unique capability to provide critical services, such as comprehensive Life-Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE), Analyses of Alternatives (AoA), Economic Analyses (EA), Cost Benefit Analyses (CBA) and related cost/financial support to strategic planning and decision analysis.

For over 35 years, Tecolote has assisted PMs across a wide range of military equipment: space systems; technology programs; ground vehicles, radar; communications for ground, sea, and space-based systems; missiles; aircraft; electronic warfare; signal processing; and computer software.

Tecolote has 35 years of experience performing analytical work for the DoD and 9 years of experience (over 40 contract tasks) supporting the MCSC. We are currently a prime contract holder for the Business and Analytical Domain.

Tecolote has the facilities, equipment, and other resources necessary to support the technical and management needs of MCSC. Tecolote has staff and locations positioned all over the country in order to best support each client. For CEOss, our support will be managed out of our Washington DC Operations located in Crystal City, Arlington, VA. Our 10,905 square foot facility is available to MCSC to support all manner of formal and informal gatherings.

We have not teamed with manufacturers/producers in order to vigorously avoid organizational conflicts of interest issues that could compromise our objectivity performing SE Domain tasks.
